I was able to snag an Apple Pencil for my iPad pro a few weeks ago and I honestly LOVE it. I’ve spend countless $$ on bluetooth / pressure sensitive styli that underperformed at every turn. Adonit was my favorite but at the end of the day, if I couldn’t rest my hand on the screen, the experience wasn’t there and therefore I couldn’t use it for real work. One of the tasks I perform regularly are as builts / field measurements. In the past this required a notepad / clipboard of graph paper and 4 colored pens (for lines / dimensions / etc) which resulted in a desk full of paper afterward. I can say I’ve successfully used the iPad Pro and Pencil to complete a site visit and it was a breeze. No extra pens, and everything is digital. If you get a chance, go check it out in the store for yourself.
